Menorrhagia

Menorrhagia is a state of excessive blood loss during a menstrual period. Heavy bleeding may be due to underlying causative factors such as polycystic ovarian syndrome, irregular periods, pelvic inflammatory disease, broids, endometriosis, hypothyroidism, or the use of an intrauterine device.
