Due to the medical and personalized nature of our test kits, we are unable to accept returns or exchanges once a kit has been dispatched.
If your kit arrives damaged, incomplete, or incorrect, please contact our support team within 7 days of delivery, and we’ll arrange a replacement free of charge.

The PAEDIATRIC-Biome test is a comprehensive stool analysis designed to assess the gut microbiome, digestive function and gastrointestinal health of children and adolescents aged 3–17 years. The gut microbiome plays an important role in digestion, immune regulation, nutrient metabolism, gut barrier integrity and inflammatory balance during childhood and adolescence.

This advanced panel uses shotgun metagenomic sequencing alongside functional gastrointestinal and biochemical markers to provide a detailed picture of microbial balance and gut function. Through a simple stool sample, the test evaluates microbial diversity, beneficial bacteria, pathogens, inflammatory markers, digestive capacity, intestinal permeability and short chain fatty acid production.

The PAEDIATRIC-Biome panel may be particularly useful in children and adolescents presenting with digestive complaints, food reactions, altered bowel habits, recurrent infections, microbiome disruption following antibiotics, or symptoms suggestive of gut dysbiosis and gastrointestinal inflammation. Results are interpreted using age-specific reference ranges, recognizing that the microbiome continues to develop throughout childhood and adolescence.
