Catechol helps to maintain normal levels and activity of COMT, a critical enzyme that our nervous system, particularly the brain’s prefrontal cortex, rely upon to organize and coordinate information from other parts of the brain.
COMT is the symbol for the actual enzyme, known as catechol-O-methyltransferase. It is produced chiefly by nerve cells in the brain, but also produced elsewhere in the body, including the liver, kidneys, and blood, form of the enzyme that helps control the levels of certain hormones.

- Layer 1:A base of B vitamins (including methylcobalamin, the active form of vitamin B12) and the mineral selenium
- Layer 2: A layer of amino acids, including tyrosine, methionine and trimethylglycine; all known to be critical nutritional factors that can be depleted due to occasional stress or poor diet.
- Layer 3: A blend of two well-researched botanicals that have been studied for their effects on occasional stress: Magnolia and Rhodiola
