Vitamin D is crucial for bone strength and may have implications on other medical conditions including osteoporosis, cancer, multiple sclerosis, and type 1 and type 2 diabetes. Our test measures the levels of vitamin D (total, 25-hydroxy D2 and D3) in the blood.
Liquid Chromatography/ Triple Quadrupole Mass Spectrometry (LC-MS/MS) instrumentation is used to quantitatively evaluate patient blood specimens for levels of vitamin D (total, 25-hydroxy D2 and D3).
